A-Players is looking for a Head of Creative Hub to take ownership of our end-to-end creative production system. This role is for someone who can move beyond just managing people or assets — and build a scalable, AI-enabled production engine that delivers high-performing concepts fast, predictably, and with measurable business impact. This is a key leadership role with a direct line into performance marketing and the creative strategy that drives our products forward.
Why this role matters
We’re scaling our performance engine across 5–10 products with growing creative demands and increased speed-to-market expectations. Right now, our creative production system is fragmented across teams and pipelines. Your mission will be to:
- Unify the full pipeline from brief → production → QA → test → scale
- Build systems for concept generation, creative performance tracking, and idea prioritization
- Scale output from ~3 products to 10+ without compromising quality
- Implement AI-powered production to reduce time-to-market and cost-per-asset
- Translate business goals into resourcing, structure, and creative direction
Team & Reporting Structure
- You’ll lead cross-functional creative units, including in-house and freelance designers
- Own the architecture of our AI-powered creative tooling (deciding what we automate, how and when)
- Work closely with CP Leads, Creative Producers, UA team, Product, and Founders
Responsibilities:
- Build and scale a centralized Creative Hub with a stable and efficient pipeline and smart allocated resources
→ (~35% of your time) - Define and iterate on creative strategy for paid channels: formats, testing workflows, quarterly KPI, OKRs
→ (~25%) - Lead AI & automation efforts in production to reduce time-to-market and cost-per-asset
→ (~15%) - Hire and mentor creative teams; foster ownership and raise the bar on quality and accountability
→ (~15%) - Align cross-functional reporting and visibility with UA, Growth, Product → (~10%)
What we look for:
- 2+ years at Head/Director level in performance creative with direct P&L responsibility
- Proven experience building a scalable Creative Hub with strong process and measurable output
- Strong marketing background — not just performance: can build narrative, uncover insights, and work with product value
- Experience with cross-functional teams and managing distributed production units
- Data-driven leadership: builds dashboards, uses metrics to drive priorities (PAM, pROI, Win-Rate, etc.)
- Strong people leadership: recruiting, coaching, process setup, and role architecture
Success Metrics
3 months:
- A full 360° audit of the creative function is completed, including a gap report and a clear 12-month roadmap.
- A unified v1.0 pipeline and updated approaches are launched across key products, enabling fast and predictable delivery.
- The Hub is delivering unique creative output with visible business impact across priority units.
- Active hiring is underway, with key roles in motion and initial team structure being stabilized.
6 months:
- The pipeline is scaled across more products, increasing creative output and improving consistency and performance.
- Time-to-market and production costs are reduced through templating, automation, and process optimization.
- The AI foundation is actively evolving: auto-generation, AI-based QA, and selected GenAI tools are integrated into daily workflows.
- The structure is maturing: key leadership roles are filled, and ownership across tracks is clearly distributed.
- A live metrics system is in place, enabling cross-functional visibility and routine performance reviews.
12 months:
- Creative Hub operates at scale across the full product portfolio with steady high-volume, high-performing output.
- Winning creatives are reliably identified, scaled, and optimized without performance drop-offs.
- AI and automation are embedded throughout the pipeline — from ideation to production — significantly accelerating workflows.
- The organization runs on clearly defined roles, repeatable processes, and regular cross-functional syncs.
- Strategic planning and process improvements are happening on a quarterly cycle to keep the system adaptive and future-ready.
